It is possible to attain a healthy weight and have a more satisfying life at the same time by simply paying attention to what and how we eat.”

This is a great thought. It refers to mindful eating, where we take the time to think about what we are eating and how the food was prepared, and to savor the flavors that cross the palate. By slowing down our eating experience–making it truly an experience of less than just shoving food into the mouth to appease a growling stomach, and more of an experience of flavors and enjoyment–could decrease the amount consumed during a meal. Why not try it?
